For some time St Andrew’s Church has held a ‘Prayer Breakfast’ each month, usually on the 4th Saturday.  

We start at 8.30am with a very nice breakfast, often with treats such as pancakes. This is followed by a speaker to help us learn about one of our ‘charities of the month’, which may be a local, national or international charity. After a short break we share a time of prayer that people can choose to stay for if they would like to.

Our speakers from October 2024 to December 2025 are:

  • October 26th - Reaching the Unreached (the charity in South India that we support)
  • November 30th  - FIND (our local foodbank)
  • December - no meeting 
  • January 25th 2025 - Tearfund
  • February 22nd - Open Doors (supports persecuted Christians around the world)
  • March 22nd - Prison Ministry in Cape Town South Africa
  • April 26th - Christian Aid
  • May - no meeting because of the May Festival
  • June 28th - Town Pastors in Ipswich
  • July 26th - Families First (local charity which supports families)
  • August 23rd - in house prayers
  • September 27th - MAF (Missionary Aviation Fellowship)
  • October 25th - Reaching the Unreached 
  • November 22nd - FIND 

It would be lovely to have more people join us on these very special occasions and we are sure you will enjoy hearing the speakers and learning about the amazing work that is being carried out all over the world.
