Welcome to St Andrew's Church

We warmly welcome everyone to St Andrew's - young or old, lifelong church-goer or a first-time visitor.

We especially welcome families, and there is an area with comfortable seating, books and activities for young ones.

There is no dress code for ccoming to church. Smart casual clothes are fine, and hats are not required!

If you think you'd like to come along to a service, here's what you can expect.

What do we believe?

What happens at services?

8am Early Communion Service

This is a said service of Holy Communion (no hymns) which takes place in the old end of the church and lasts about 45 minutes.
There are readings, a psalm, prayers, a short sermon and Holy Communion.

The service is followed by a light breakfast in the church hall, to which all are welcome.

10am Parish Communion

This is similar to the 8am service, but includes hymns, and takes place in the new end of church for about an hour. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month all children are invited to join in the Sunday Club in the hall during this service.

The service is followed by coffee.

10am Worship for All (1st Sunday of the month only)

An all-age family service, with hymns, readings, prayers and a talk, but not Holy Communion. It takes place in the new end of the church for about an hour. The Music Group lead our singing and the children often take part, by reading or leading our prayers.
